I'm just sick about the results of last night's presidential election! How will this likely change my nearing retirement plans? Investments, healthcare, safety etc.
Me too. I still have a strange feeling in my core. Since I've always known that my investments were volatile, I am willing to ride out whatever comes. What boggles me most is the question of safety - not just mine, but of all those who are not in our next President's social circle. As an ardent believer in planning for the future, I am also extremely concerned about the safety of our planet. Denying climate change is just not an option.
For me, it might mean having to wait until I am 65 to retire since I can't count on ObamaCare being there. I'll probably be alright otherwise. Besides the mutual funds in my retirement accounts I know have some rental property . I have a feeling Trump might be nice to real estate investors. ;-}
Seriously, I'd give it all to have Obama back.
