Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown

Apparently some believe that if they say twenty-seven days rather than "forty days" somehow they have a better chance of getting right their pet prediction(s). Are you confident in predicting what tomorrow will bring. I am not (confident).

In my opinion, someone who says that "the Market" is going into catastrophe on or by a certain day (time period)

is becoming a member of the Jonah club (Jonah 3:4).

A person who thinks they know how things are going to turn out is probably wrong.

If someone really knew (the future) they would keep silence and become very rich.

Jonah called out, “Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown!” ...

Jonah set out on the first day of his walk in the city.
