    ss disability to retirement

I'm 62.  I was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2000.  I went out on full disability at that time - both SS disability and a private policy.
My private disability drops down to about 35% when I turn 65, then ends completely at age 70 (or 67, it's unclear right now).  As I understand it, my ss disability automatically converts to regular ss retirement at age 66.
Question:  If I voluntarily stop receiving ss retirement post turning 66, if I go back to work (if I can get any work), will that income increase my future ss retirement if I "retire for a second time" after working for several years more?
