Kids out of college. No specialized medical care needed. Was planning to relocate to Mexico.Should I wait to have access to my retirement accounts until proper retirement age of   59 1/2? Anyone with similar experience?  thank you.

Sorry, I don't know anything about disability and retirement. But be aware that if you take funds out of your retirement fund before you are 591/2, not only will you lose the growth potential of those funds, but you have to pay a 10% penalty on top of the taxes (if any). That seems like a high price to pay. So if you can possibly leave your retirement funds alone until you are 591/2, that would be a really good thing.
