    Thank the troops!

For several years Xerox Corp. has sponsored a great little website where you can send a postcard thanking the soldiers abroad for their service to us. You can't send to a specific individual; these are batch-printed and sent along with care pkgs by another charitable organization, Give2theTroops (which is itself a worthwhile charity (http://www.give2thetroops.org/).
The website uses art drawn by schoolchildren, and is changed regularly. It loads fast and makes it very easy to select a message. I usually try to visit the site at least twice a year, and send five or six different postcards. Absolutely free, you don't need to register, and I'd like to urge everyone to do this. Make a homesick soldier's day a little brighter, and spread some goodwill.
