We're thrilled that Amy Muska O'Brien, managing director and Head of TIAA-CREF's Responsible Investment team, has joined Woman2Woman as our Fall guest expert. From August until October, she will be contributing a number of articles on the subject of socially responsible investing.


Amy provides overall strategic leadership to Asset Management on the implementation of TIAA-CREF's socially responsible investment commitments and environmental, social and governance (ESG) approaches. 

Amy has 19 years of professional experience in the field of socially responsible investing. Prior to joining TIAA-CREF in 2005, Ms. O'Brien served as Director of Corporate Social Responsibility at the Pension Boards - United Church of Christ, where she developed and implemented socially responsible investment strategies.

Previously, she was Research Manager at the Council on Economic Priorities, the non-profit research firm that pioneered the field of corporate social and environmental responsibility ratings for investors and consumers.

Amy earned a B.S. in Biology from Boston College and an M.S. in Environmental Management and Policy from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
